Join The Pottery Studio for a hands-on workshop with a former chef and seasoned potter, Sante Salvoni. Sante will demonstrate and help you to create two oven-ready pieces : an oval casserole and a lidded slow-cooking pot, both in high-fire ceramics. Special emphasis will be placed on handles and knobs — the details that make a pot truly functional and a pleasure to use. Sante brings 40 years of professional cooking experience that overlapped 30 years as a potter who specializes in honest, well-crafted vessels built to cook with, not just look at. Cooking for the kitchen has been a lifelong passion, and this demo gives you a close-up look at how functional pottery is made by someone who truly loves using it.
This workshop is limited to MEMBERS ONLY who can comfortably center 5lb of clay.
